survey

I'm conducting a survey for my marketing research class.
Here is the link...

It's just a couple, easy questions.
Your help is greatly appreciated! :]

election '08

Wow, has this election been a crazy one!
I'm glad there's only a week left of this madness.

I've never been really fond of politics, but I know it's important and necessary. I wasn't old enough to vote for the last presidential election and didn't really pay attention to it. I was too worried about graduating high school and getting the perfect homecoming dress.
(ps: it really impresses and surprises me how young kids are all informed and opinionated on this years election)
What a memorable and historical election this will be! There's so much I can say about it.

I haven't been impressed with neither candidate. I feel this election hasn't been a true depiction of America and all it stands for. It's not like how I read and learned in history classes growing up. A shame? Good? Or just new times?
As my first presidential election, unfortunately, I am still slightly undecided on who I am voting for and if I even am voting for President. Bummer. I think I'll just "ini mini miny mo" in the voting poll. Lol, jk!
I heard a saying recently that really caught my attention and sad that it has come to this.
"Don't vote for Obama just because Scarlett Johansson told you to." I think this says alot about this election. I have encountered alot (not all) of people who are voting for Obama just because he is cool, black, young, a good speaker, or because celebrities endorse him.
Anywho, I didn't plan on sharing my side or opinion. Ooops... Lol.

VOTE! Right...?

bored

What to do when you're bored? BLOG! :]

I haven't been posting & updating the blog as much as I would like to...bummer.
I think that is because of the following two reasons:

1. I have no time! I have been very busy lately with school, work, homework, projects/hobbies, and trying to have some kind of a social life. It's been challenging, fun, and different, as well as, a great learning life experience.

2. I have no real direction or theme for this blog. I wanted a blog just for random thoughts or to update on life events. But it's been kind of hard to figure out what to write. I find myself sitting at my laptop, my typing hands ready, with a blank stare asking "uhhh, what do I write about?"
I've been wondering if I should have a theme as I see in other blogs, such as photography, food, or travel. Hmmm, I dunno. :] We'll see.

sundays.

I love Sundays. I've come to appreciate them more and more. For many years, Sunday was a busy, hectic kind-of-a day. I'm glad I can now enjoy them to the fullest.

Sunday's usually consist of family time, homework, and relaxing.
Today was a good day.
Church always begins my Sundays...a time I enjoy and makes my week. :) The gathering of God's children is wonderful. Worship and the preaching is edifying and rejuvenating. I'm happy to be part of the body of Christ.
After church, we went to Costco (our family's all-time favorite place. Lol) and ate there. All went good except for some rude & disrespectful stares. Grrr.
Later on, I took Toby for a walk. He loves walks! He gets so excited when I put my tennis shoes on. It's adorable.
After our stroll, I went for a little shopping outing. I went to Tilly's and bought an amazing brown, leather jacket! I can't wait to wear it. Then I hit Target and some other little stores.
I came home, did some cleaning, ate dinner, made some green tea, and started homework (this would have to be my least favorite part about Sundays). I waited for Jesse to come over, buuut that didn't happen. Lol. He owes me. :]
Although I had a full schedule, I was relaxed throughout the day, and time went by slowly.

Now I'm off to bed...work at 7am.
Oh! I'm riding my bike to work tomorrow! :) It's only 1 mile away and it's a good way to get some exercise in, which I haven't been doing lately. :-/

till next time.

job

Sooo I FINALLY found a job! After months (literally months) of looking and looking, I finally landed one. I work at a private school right by house (it's so close I could walk, pretty cool, huh?). I watch the students before and after school and help out with other things they need help in. It's pretty chill. I get to play w/ kids and watch movies w/ them in daycare. Sweet! Lol.
Thank the Lord! (and Sindy & Kristin) :]

ps. fall & rain?! I'm loving it!
